Hi Elyse – I too found out from Hyacinthe that I own a Lithograph with an $18,000 retail value. It is on Baron Gallery’s web site and I am hoping to sell it as well. The lithograph is called “The Gift of Love” as part of her Icon Series.
She is an amazing talent – so happy you featured a truly gifted woman.

Elyse: I want to thank you for the wonderful display of my painting “Girl With Flower” on the Nate Berkus Show on NBC on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. $17,000.00 is the Appraisal of the 9×12″ painting that you selected. The shock to the audience was so much fun and the way you presented the story was so expertly done. My artworks have been crawling out of the woodwork and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing since its appearance.
You are amazing and so good at what you do. Keep up the good work and hope we get to meet if you ever get to San Diego!

Elyse,
I accidently discovered History Detectives one Saturday while eating breakfast prior to starting work. I want to complain that the show is too addicting. I find it very difficult to turn it off, especially when PBS is running back to back episodes. Your show is going to be the cause of me getting in trouble at work… I’ve always been a history buff, particularly interested in the Civil War ever since I was in grade school. I now live in Northern Va. and work in DC, a very history rich area, and bountiful resources all around me. The thing about the HD show, is how it grabs my interest even on topics I normally wouldn’t research or read about on my own, and then following the host as they solve the riddles of the various objects. It’s like a good book you can’t seem to put down wanting to see what happens next. I also have to admit I always am anxious for the spots that include you as the researcher. You do a great job and the fact that you’re hotter than a pepper sprout doesn’t hurt any either. I’ll keep my eye out, maybe I’ll catch sight of you entering the Archives Building in DC someday… Continued good luck and I look forward to the new season..

Elyse, I just wanted to write, to say how much I really enjoy watching History Detectives, and always learn so much from the episodes. And also Elyse, and I hope You don’t mind too much me saying this, but You are, TRULY, one the most beautiful Women in the entire world, and that I have ever seen before in my entire life. So please, keep up those great segments that you always do. I really do learn so much from them. And I Thank You so very much for it. I believe, that our Country’s History, and it’s artifacts, are so extremely important to each and every one of us, living here in The Greatest Country on Earth. Just caught the show with the Hindenburg artifact. I am impressed at the detective-work. As a pilot, and a son of a pilot who started flying shortly after the Hindenburg crash, the object in this specific episode was of particular interest to me. The process by which you examined it was fascinating, educational and entertaining at the same time.
